Mount Barker Primary School can assist families needing care of their children outside of school's main hours, both before and after school hours, during school holidays and on pupil free days.
We are working collaboratively with Happy Haven to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for our children. They are cared for by a team of professional educators who provide a range of activities and opportunities to try new experiences. We aim to develop and nurture a child's sense of self worth through encouragement and positive re-enforcement.
Happy Haven provide a program that is appropriate to the leisure needs of the children attending and provide development opportunities for social, physical, emotional and intellectual well-being. Children are actively involved in the program planning, implementation and evaluation processes. Healthy eating is promoted through the Healthy Food policy and the development of life skills is essential.
Session Times
Before school care | 6:30am to 8:30am
After school care | 3:10pm to 6:30pm
Vacation care is also available Monday – Friday from 6.30am to 6:30pm (excluding public holidays).
