School Fees

Our school fees (Materials and Services Charge) are sent out by invoice in Term 1 of each school year.

The Governing Council set the Materials and Services Charge each school year. The 2024 charge was set at $320.00 per student.

The Materials and Services Charges can be paid in the following ways:

• Cash or cheque (made payable to Mt Barker Primary School)
• Eftpos
• Qkr! (payment app)
• Payment by instalments:
  • Can be arranged with the Business Manager (including payment by Direct Debit)
  • School card can be applied for on line at www.sa.gov.au or via form available from the office. Approval is not automatic from the previous year.  You must apply each year.  

School Card - South Australia

For families finding it difficult to make ends meet, the South Australian School Card scheme offers financial assistance for students attending government schools.

If your school fees are less than the School Card subsidy, the scheme can also help with other educational expenses such as uniform, camp and excursion costs.

Families with children aged four years and over who attend school full-time are eligible to apply using the application form on this page.

Please Note : A new application must be completed at the start of every year.
