School Photo Day - New Reception Class

Tue 13 Aug 2024 | Mid-Year Reception Class Intake Photo Day - Tuesday 13th August | All students must be in correct school uniform, and looking their best for the big day! Please note that students 'preferred name' will be used on the photo names, unless otherwise instructed. Order envelopes have been dispatched to the students. These envelopes contain comprehensive information about packages available and instructions on methods of ordering. It is important to note that envelopes do not have to be returned to the school. 80% of all orders are placed online and any payments made by cash or cheque can be returned by students directly to our photographers on the day of photography. |
Book Week 2024

Sat 17 Aug 2024 | With our 2024 Children's Book Week theme; Reading is Magic, we're celebrating reading stories and their amazing power to transport minds. We are encouraging kids to be curious about the wonders in our world. It is a positive and affirming message for our young people. The magic of reading also lies in its power of enticement; a good story provokes conversations. Talking about the stories with others connects the reader with other readers. Wrapped around all of this are the "tricks" and skills of our amazing writers and illustrators, as they use all their powers of language and illustration to engage the reader in this world they are building. |

Mon 02 Sep 2024 | Progressive Achievement Tests (PAT) The tests have been developed by the Australian Council for Educational Research to assess skills in verbal comprehension and mathematics. The test battery contains three tests, which collectively are called the Progressive Achievement Tests (PAT). | |

Mount Barker Cup

Tue 05 Nov 2024 | 12:30pm to 1:00pm | It's the annual not-the-Melbourne-Cup MOUNT BARKER CUP. Join us for a BYO picnic lunch on the MBPS oval at 12:30pm, followed by the fun of the fillies (pantomime horses that is). It's a lot of fun and free for the Mount Barker Community to enjoy! Please bring your own picnic lunch. No pets or alcohol permitted. |
